Each of the prompts in my book is several pages long, with the most detailed at about 8 pages. I intentionally go very deep and cover these important elements for effective prompts:

• Outlining expected input
• Providing instructions, platform rules, and any logic considerations
• Establishing rules for compliance and validation
• Showing examples for effective output

Using proven prompt templates (and mine have all been heavily tested) removes the trial and error from the process.
