Introducing the Reseller Dashboard
Every reseller hits that moment. For me, it used to happen about once a week. I would open up my laptop for the morning and start packing items from overnight sales, and there would be that one item that was missing a SKU. My heart would sink, and I would spend the next 20 minutes digging through a dozen bins, hoping I could remember what I bought at around the same time that might have a similar SKU. Other times I would get a complaint from a buyer because there was something I missed during triage or hadn’t captured in a photo.
I was running my business like a side hustle, doing whatever seemed right in the moment and using whatever tools were handy. It worked—barely—when I had 100 items. But as my business grew to over 1,000 listings across Poshmark, eBay, Etsy, and Facebook, the issues that once seemed small felt like mountains.
Reflecting on that period of growth and the limited tools available to me at the time is why I created my new Reseller Dashboard, an all-in-one system for clothing resellers that simply makes resale easier. From managing inventory and sales to business planning and performance reporting, it’s all there in one place. Built with Notion, it’s easy to use and focused, even if you’ve never touched Notion before.
Resellers need better organization
I see too many new resellers fail because of poor systems. I understand why; I’ve been there. It’s all too common to piece the wrong tools together and rely too much on memory. But being disorganized has far too many costs, from lost profit to wasted time to overwhelming stress. Spreadsheets might work for basic financial records, but where do you manage urgent tasks? To-do list apps might help you see what you need to tackle that day, but how do you measure long-term performance or track where things are stored?
A good resale system is easy to use, gives you access to everything you need in one place, and helps you grow your business over time. It’s something that you actually look forward to using and know you can rely on every single day. I built my system with Notion because it can handle everything resellers need, from to-do lists to inventory databases to connected documents and even charts for reporting. Best of all, there’s no cost to use Notion; you just need a free Notion account.
Here’s a quick introduction to everything you can do with the Reseller Dashboard:
Manage Inventory and Sales
Every reseller system needs a way to catalog inventory and track item sales. The Reseller Dashboard has a simple system to manage both, and best of all, inventory and sales are connected. That means that when you sell an item, the Sales table lets you choose it from your inventory—no copying and pasting. And when you enter a sale date in the Sales tracker, it automatically flags the item as sold in inventory.

If you’re familiar with other Ultimate Thrifting tools, you may be wondering how this is different from our Reseller Toolkit in Google Sheets. The Toolkit is better suited to larger resale operations where detailed financial reporting and analysis are key. The Dashboard is a simpler, all-in-one platform that brings everything together for newer, growing resellers.
Task & Event Management
The Reseller Dashboard helps you plan everything about your resale operation, from what you need to do today to where your business will be in a year. As soon as you sign in each day, you’ll see instantly what you need to take care of. The most important tasks and events are right on the homepage, and for everything else, you’re just one click away from whatever you need.

Rather than seeing an overwhelming list of everything that needs to be done, the dashboard is focused. The homepage shows you overdue tasks and tasks due today only. Anything you mark as complete automatically updates the table so you only see incomplete tasks. For upcoming events, you only see what’s on your agenda today and for the rest of the week. Of course, if you need to see all tasks and events, you can just click on the headings to see complete lists of to-do items or an events calendar.
Procedures & Planning
As a thrift and resale educator, I wanted a big part of the Dashboard to be centered around education and best practices. That’s why I included a library of detailed procedure samples for resellers (also included is a 40-page copy in Google Docs) and a variety of planning tools to support your business. That’s where the Dashboard differs from a lot of other generic planning tools: it’s built from the ground up specifically for resellers; it’s full of examples to help resellers hit the ground running.

Getting started with the Dashboard couldn’t be easier. After purchase, just create a free Notion account (if you don’t have one), clone the template, spend 20 minutes watching the intro videos and reviewing the documentation, and you’ll be ready to go.
Get Started Today
Building a profitable, successful resale business doesn’t need fancy software or expensive subscriptions. But you do need a good system. The difference between hobbyist resellers who burn out and professional resellers often comes down to organization, and that’s why I built the Reseller Dashboard. It has everything you need to get your business on track and grow it sustainably, and it includes six how-to videos and full documentation to get you started. Upon purchase, you’ll get instant access and can be up and running in less than 30 minutes.
Happy thrifting!
