The Balance Sheet tab of the Reseller Toolkit is a read-only view of the current state of your assets, liabilities, and owner’s equity. It provides an outline of what the company owns and what it owes to other parties.
Data in the report is always as at today’s date (it’s not by date range, since it’s a measure of the current financial position of the company) or, if the current date is after the year associated with the report, the last day of the report’s calendar year. In other words, if you are using a 2025 version of the template, and you view it on March 10, 2025, then the balance sheet will be as at March 10, 2025. But if you view it on February 3, 2026, to help with year-end reporting and tax calculations, the balance sheet will be as at December 31, 2025, since that’s the period end for data in the balance sheet.
