Do I need any special software or devices to use the Reseller Toolkit?
No, all that’s needed is a Google account. Any device or browser will work with the tool.
How do I get my existing inventory into the Inventory tab?
If you use another product now to manage your resale business, your best option is to organize the data (perhaps in Excel or another Google Sheet) so that you can copy and paste columns from the original source into the Reseller Toolkit. We suggest copying one column in at a time, since you shouldn’t try to overwrite the pre-populated columns and the column order may not match between the two systems.
Does this work with other currencies?
The Ultimate Thrifting Reseller Toolkit supports any currency, but it is currently limited to a single currency. If you sell in multiple currencies, you should convert the values into your native currency before entering the records in your spreadsheet. A multi-currency version of the Reseller Toolkit is planned for 2026, but handling several currencies is considerably more complex (and exchange rates must be tracked on a daily basis).
This tool isn’t right for me. How can I get a refund?
No problem. If you’re within 14 days of purchase, and have used our videos, how-to guides and support without success, just contact us with your refund request and we’ll get that processed for you.
Can I customize the spreadsheet?
Since you are the owner of the spreadsheet and have unrestricted access to it after creating a copy, it’s possible to make any changes you want. Please note though that certain types of changes, like deleting important columns, removing rows, and modifying formulas could result in issues that break core functionality and cannot be fixed. We unfortunately can’t support custom modifications to the Toolkit.
What process should I follow for refunds?
If an item you sold is refunded, this is our recommended approach:
- In the Sales tab, go to the Refunded column and mark the item as refunded.
- When you receive the item back, add it to your Inventory tab as if it were a new acquisition, but change the title of the item to append the word ” – Relisted”.
- When the item is sold again, treat the sale as you would any other sale, but make sure you choose the item you created in #2.
This approach will ensure that all sales are tracked for reporting, regardless of status, but that refunded items aren’t recorded as revenue.
Should reports update instantly?
Because the file runs in the cloud, high volumes of data in the spreadsheet can sometimes cause reports a few seconds to update. Data entry should never slow down, but if you do a lot of data entry and then switch to reports, you may see a progress bar at the top of the spreadsheet as the data is processed and records are updated.
Do I need a new file every year?
Every template is designed for a single calendar year. Ultimate Thrifting publishes a new file each year for the latest calendar year. Existing customers are able to purchase new calendar year versions at a discount (please contact us for more details).
